About Fantasy Trade Check

Fantasy Trade Check is run by a single independent builder as five fantasy football tools built around one idea: show the math, not just the number. Every value on this site traces back to a real, current average draft position (ADP), a documented formula, and a stated source -- not a black-box trade-value database.

Why ADP instead of a trade-value database?

The obvious data source for a fantasy trade calculator is a dedicated trade-value provider like FantasyCalc.com, which builds values from millions of real submitted trades. We looked into it -- and their own Terms of Use say plainly that their data can't be used for commercial purposes (this site carries advertising) without express written permission, which we don't have. Rather than use it anyway or quietly skip that limitation, this site builds its own values from a source with different, more permissive terms: Fantasy Football Calculator's public ADP API, which explicitly allows commercial use and only asks for attribution. Where the values come from

Player values are computed from real, current ADP data licensed from Fantasy Football Calculator (fantasyfootballcalculator.com), refreshed weekly (every Tuesday) -- last refreshed 2026-09-17. That real rank runs through one documented formula (a smooth exponential decay curve, the same general shape every public trade-value tool uses) built and tested independently for this site -- see "how it's calculated" on the Trade Calculator. These values are not FantasyCalc's proprietary numbers and won't match them.

What it doesn't do

These are estimates, not advice, and Fantasy Trade Check isn't affiliated with the NFL, any NFL team, Fantasy Football Calculator, FantasyCalc, Sleeper, ESPN, Yahoo, or any other fantasy platform. A trade's real worth depends on your league's exact settings, your roster needs, and your read on a player's outlook -- this tool gives a starting point, not a final answer. See Terms.

Every tool

• Trade Calculator -- Build both sides of a trade, get a total value for each side, and a fairness verdict against a stated threshold -- redraft or dynasty, 1-QB or superflex, PPR, half-PPR or standard.
• Dynasty Trade Calculator -- Evaluate a dynasty trade using superflex-based values (the deepest real ADP sample this site has), with the same fairness verdict as the main trade calculator.
• Trade Value Chart -- Every ranked player's trade value in one sortable table, by position and scoring format, computed from real current ADP with the formula and source shown.
• Keeper Value Calculator -- Is a keeper worth the draft pick you'd give up for them? Compares the player's current trade value against the pick's value on the same scale, with a stated threshold.
• FAAB Bid Calculator -- How much of your remaining waiver budget to bid, by add tier and weeks left in the season, with the percentage formula shown next to the suggested dollar range.
